We Are All The Same

I look out on the drizzlin’ rain,
Everything is wet.
The rain knows the facts,
That we are all the same.

I look out on the open sun,
Everyone sweats.
The sun knows the facts,
That we are all the same.

I look out on a cold winter day,
Everyone shivers.
The cold knows the facts,
That we are all the same.

Those that wear turbans,
And read the Koran,
Are the same as the Bible totin’,
Church goin’ man.

My friend’s skin is black,
When cut he bleeds red.
We are the same livin’,
We will be the same when dead.

I look out on the drizzlin’ rain,
Everything is wet.
The rain knows the facts,
That we are all the same
